【インターナショナルコース】International Course Students Showcase Skills with PechaKucha Presentations
At our school, students in the International Course recently participated in a dynamic PechaKucha presentation activity, aimed at enhancing both fluency and prosody in their English language skills. This unique format encourages presenters to convey their ideas in a concise and engaging manner, using 20 slides that automatically advance every 20 seconds.
Each student chose a topic of personal interest, creating an opportunity to explore diverse subjects while practicing public speaking. Whether discussing personal hobbies, scientific discoveries, or cultural experiences, the presentations were both informative and entertaining. The goal was to foster greater confidence in speaking, helping students refine their delivery, pacing, and expression in English.
クラーク名古屋校インターナショナル・コースでは、英語の流暢さとリズムを向上させるために「ペチャクチャ・プレゼンテーション」に挑戦しました。このプレゼンテーションでは、20秒ごとに自動で切り替わる20枚のスライドを使い、発表者が自らの考えを魅力的に伝えることをします。この活動で、生徒たちはそれぞれ興味のあるテーマを選び、人前で話す経験を積みながら、多様なトピックを選んでいました。 プレゼンテーションの内容は、個人的な趣味や科学の発見、文化的な体験など多岐にわたり、学びの多い充実したものになりました。生徒たちは英語のスピーキングに対して自信を深めながら、話し方やテンポ、表現力を磨く貴重な機会を得ることができました。
The activity not only strengthened their language skills but also emphasized the importance of clear communication and presentation techniques. Students were able to engage with their peers, share insights, and celebrate their individual creativity.
