【国際コース】　「TestSkills」授業　～英語の試験から普遍的なスキルへ～　

　本日の「Test Skills」授業では、今まで英検の過去問題などを使って身につけた勉強スキルを、違う形をしている「Cambridge English」という英語試験の問題に適用してみました。

　どちらのスキルがどちらの問題に適切なのかをお互いに決めて、実際にやってみました。使ってみたスキルはその問題の解答に役に立っていたか、他のスキルを使えば良かったかなど、振り返りと話し合いで、授業で勉強するスキルは違う場面でどう使えば良いのかが明らかになってきたようです。

　In today’s Test Skills class, we took the study skills we had learned using Eiken past papers and materials, and tried to apply them to a completely different English exam, the Cambridge English test. Students discussed together which skills they thought would be useful for answering specific questions, and then tried it out. Afterwards, they talked about which skills worked, and which other skills might have been useful for the different questions. In this way, we can start learning how to use the skills we gain in the classroom in other contexts and situations.
