【国際コース】　The Tree Ceremony　～目標を共有して、協力的なコミュニティに～　

　毎年、新1年生は英語の目標を書き、『国際コースの目標の木』に貼ります。この活動は国際コースの伝統で、「The Tree Ceremony」と呼んでいます。新入生を国際コースに迎える大切な儀式の一つです。

　1年生の目標を聞くことで、2年生や3年生が新入生にどのような手助けやサポートができるかを知ることができます。英語を効果的に学ぶためには、協力的で理解のあるコミュニティが非常に重要です。国際コースの生徒たちが、英語学習者同士の強く前向きなコミュニティの一員となれるよう、常に努力しています！

It is one of the International Course traditions that every year the new first year students write an English goal, share it with all of the students in the course, and then put their goal onto the “International Course Tree of Goals.” We call this our International Course Tree Ceremony. It is one of the important ways that we welcome new students into the International Course. Hearing the first year students’ goals also helps the second and third year students know what kind of help and support they can provide to the new students. In order to learn a language effectively, it is very important to have a supportive and understanding community. We are always striving to ake sure that the International Course students are part of a strong and positive community of English language learning students!
