【国際コース】　「Drama」授業　～英語の演技の魅力～

　国際コースの「Drama」授業では、流暢さとジェスチャーという英語の2つの側面を完璧にすることに重点を置いています。

　演じる劇の言葉は話し言葉なので、生徒はほぼ全ての語彙を知っています。そのため、登場人物のセリフをできるだけ自然な形で話すことに集中でき、自然なジェスチャーも使うことができます。

　今週は放課後の時間を活用して追加練習をしている生徒がいました。このシーンでは、不思議なことにスーパーマーケットの棚からトマトスープの缶が全て消えてしまったところを演じています。

　このようにクラークでは教科書では学ぶことのできないコミュニケーションを楽しく学びます。

In the International Course Drama class, students focus on perfecting two aspects of their English: fluency and gestures. The language in the plays that the students perform is spoken language, so students know almost all of the vocabulary. That way they can focus on speaking their characters’ lines in the most natural way possible and use natural gestures as well. This week after school, some students stayed to do some extra practice. In this scene, level two students are acting out a scene where all of the tomato soup cans have mysteriously disappeared from the super market shelves.
