【国際コース】授業紹介　～「CLIL」授業

　国際コースでは毎年、心理学や人類学など大学入門レベルの学問を学ぶ「CLIL」授業を行っています。昨年度はは経済学の授業を行いました。経済学者が使う基本的なモデル、現在の日本の経済状況、そして経済モデルを使って近い将来の日本の経済状況を予測する方法について学びました。
　このクラスはディスカッション中心の授業なので、生徒たちは難しいテーマについてお互いにコミュニケーションをとるのに頑張りました。毎週、ディスカッションは活発で興味深いもので、生徒たちは自信を持って英語で経済について議論できるようになりました。

Every year in the International Course, we have a class where students can study about subjects such as psychology and anthropology at the university entry level. This year, students took a class in economics. They learned about the basic models that economists use, the current economic situation in Japan, and how to use the economic models to predict what Japan’s economic situation in the near future. The class is a discussion focused class, so students had to work hard to communicate with each other about a difficult subject. Every week the discussion were lively and interesting. And now, the students can confidently discuss economics in English.
