【国際コース】　国際コースは、英語「で」学ぶ！　～CLIL授業～

　国際コースでは、CLIL(容言語統合型学習)と呼ばれる教育方法を取り入れています。例えば、国際的なイベントの企画作りを学んだり、アメリカの教科書を使って経済学や社会学を学んだりすることで、特定のテーマやスキルを英語で学習するスタイルです。このように、興味深く役に立つ知識を得て、重要なスキルを身につけ、同時に英語も学ぶことができるのです。
　CLILの授業の多くは、大学のゼミの授業に近いスタイルに行っています。生徒たちは積極的にアイデアを出し合い、クラスで意見を交換し、さらにはプロジェクトの作成・計画も行います。

　国際コースでは、学習は教室の内外で行われる必要があり、生徒には地域社会や世界中の人々と関係を築く機会が必要だと考えています。CLILメソッドは、国際コースの生徒がグローバルな思考を持ち、アクティブなリーダーになるための重要な方法なのです。

In the International Course, one of our main teaching methods is call CLIL. In this style of language studying, students study a specific subject or skills in English, for example by learning how to plan an international event, or studying economics or sociology using textbooks from America. In this way, students can learn about interesting and useful subjects, gain important skills, and also learn English at the same time. In many of these classes, the style is similar to a university seminar class. The students actively brainstorm ideas, share their opinions with the class, and even create and plan projects. In the International Course, we believe that learning has to happen inside and outside of a classroom and that students need a chance to build relationships with the community and people from across the world. CLIL style learning method helps our students become global thinkers and active leaders.
