【国際コース】　「Production」授業　～特別映画が上映されました～

　本日、国際コースの「Production」授業では、特別なドキュメンタリー上映を行いました。
　ドイツのジャーナリスト、ソニア・ブラシュケ氏による作品された日本の「限界集落問題」に関する映画です。このドキュメンタリーはまだ公開されていないのに、ブラシュケ氏に特別な上映許可をもらえて、限界集落問題を踏まえて今年のプロダクション授業のテーマとなっている「コミュニティー」のことを英語でディスカッションしました。

　生徒たちが皆で興味深い意見を英語で丁寧に交換できました。最後にブラシュケ氏への感謝メッセージも書きました。英語能力の改善にも、思考力の伸ばしにもとても良い機会でした。

Today in the International Course’s Production Class, we had a special screening of a documentary film about Japan’s “genkai shuuraku” problem, made by the German journalist, Sonia Blaschke. This documentary is not yet on public release, but we received special permission from Ms Blaschke to show the movie in class. We were able to use the film to deepen our discussion about this year’s Production class theme, “community.” The students had a good discussion and shared their opinions on this interesting topic. At the end, we all wrote a thank you message for Ms. Blaschke. It was a fantastic opportunity to improve both our English skills, and our critical thinking.
