【学習】「英語コミュニケーションⅠ」授業　～ゲームでも文法の練習ができる！～

　2025年度がいよいよ始まりました！新入生は緊張をしながらも、新しい学校生活に少しずつ慣れてきたようです。
　クラーク札幌大通校では、新入生はまず基本的な知識を確認することを大事にしています。そのため、「英語コミュニケーションⅠ」授業では、最初に英文法の基礎となっている「主語＋動詞」というパターンと「be動詞」の使い方を復習しておくことが重要なスタートポイントです。
　生徒のほとんどはそれを文法ドリルやワークシートで勉強したことがあります。しかし、本日の授業では、インターネットの英語トレーニングゲームを使って基礎的な英文法をたくさん練習しました。その後、ゲームの実践で対象の文法に関して気づいたことを、覚えやすくなるように自分の言葉で書いてみました。
　このように、英語の基礎的な文法のルールや実際的使い方が楽しく身につけることができます。

The first semester of the new school year is finally here! The new students are still quite nervous, but they seem to be getting used to their new high school life day-by-day. At Clark Odori Campus, we feel it is important to first make sure that all new students have a base level of knowledge and ability. In English Communication class, checking that all the students understand foundational grammar such as the “subject+verb” pattern and the use of “be” is an essential start point for all students. However, as almost all the students have studied this at least once in the school careers, simply making them do grammar drill-style worksheets seems a little boring. Instead, we used an online English training game to revise and practice this basic grammar. After playing for a while, to help them remember what they had learned, the students wrote down in their words what they had noticed concerning the grammar they had used in the game. In this way, they could internalize the basics of English grammar in a fun and interesting way.
