【インターナショナルコース】3年生の最後のコース授業の様子をご紹介

Last Friday was the final day for the International 3rd-Year-Only class. As Thursday was Thanksgiving in America, we said goodbye by celebrating a meal together. Most of the food was traditional, homemade Thanksgiving fare: cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn bread, and apple and pumpkin pies. Just like large, American family gatherings, students sat around a big table and passed the various dishes between each other. Some students shared what they were thankful for this year. There may have (almost!) been tears. It was a nice way to end the year before exams start next week.
先日の金曜は3年生のみのインターナショナルコース最後の授業でした。アメリカでは、木曜日のサンクスギビングデイに、お肉を食べてお祝いをすることで、さよならを表現します。食べ物の多くは伝統的な自家製のもので、クランベリーソース、マッシュポテト、スイートポテト、コーンパン、りんごやパンプキンパイが並びます。アメリカの家族が集まるように、生徒たちは大きなテーブルを囲んで、様々な食事の乗ったお皿を回します。また生徒たちは（少し涙を浮かべながら）今年の感謝の気持ちを共有し合いました。来週から始まるテストに向けて、良い締めくくりとなりました。
