【インターナショナル専攻】中学生の皆さん、クラークの授業が体験できるオープンキャンパスにぜひお越しください！

夏休みから引き続き、9月のオープンキャンパスもたくさんの生徒の皆様にご参加いただきました。ありがとうございます。
クラーク横浜の魅力は、なんといっても充実した専攻授業。オープンキャンパスではその特色ある専攻授業を体験していただけます。インターナショナル専攻の授業では「明日から使える英語表現」をテーマにネイティブの先生と楽しく学習します。

Basicクラス(基礎クラス)のナデージュ先生より
For last week open campus basic lesson, we went shopping for the new Fall Collection. After learning clothing related vocabulary, we played a memory game in order to remember the new terms.  One point for each remembered word, everyone scored some points. After they had to use them in a shopping role play at the mall.
「May I help you?（いらっしゃいませ）」から会話がスタート。洋服屋さんで使える表現を学びました。まずはclothing (衣服)に関するボキャブラリーを覚えるゲームからスタート。ワイワイ盛り上がったあとは、実際のお買い物を想定した会話をロールプレイ。1コマ30分という短い時間ですが、時間を忘れるくらい楽しむことができました。

Ring ring! “Hello?”
For this month’s open campus, students who joined the International Course advanced lesson gave telephone calls their best shot! After reviewing ordinal numbers and practicing the necessary phrases, students challenged themselves to make restaurant reservations. Standing back to back – you can’t see the person on the other end of a phone call, after all – they asked each other for all the necessary details and confirmed the information. They were all able to make their reservations successfully, and Clark’s Diner was quickly booked full!
「はい、こちらレストランClark’s Dinerです！」「もしもし？」先日の授業では電話でレストランの予約をとるときに使う表現やフレーズを学習しました。そして、実際の電話で話す場面を想定して、生徒たちは背中合わせの状態でコミュニケーションをとる練習をしました。チャレンジングな内容でも先生や実行委員の生徒たちがサポートしてくれるので安心です。

まだご参加されていない皆さん、次回のオープンキャンパスは10月30日（日）です。
英語が苦手でも大丈夫。「わかった」「できた」がきっとあるはず。
