【インターナショナルコース】PBL（プロジェクト型学習）レベル3：早稲田外語専門学校との交流

クラーク国際 東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースは、英語力、ほかの文化を理解する力、世界の課題に取り組む力を育成するコースです。インターナショナルコースでは、今年度からプロジェクト型学習（Project-Based Learning）を取り入れた新しいカリキュラムを開始しました。今回はAdam先生が、レベル３の校外学習の様子をご紹介します。

Visiting and interviewing international students at a different place of learning

By interacting with diverse others in English, students will be able to demonstrate the communication skills they are developing on a daily basis in a real-world setting. Through such challenges, students will gain confidence and become aware of different ways of seeing and thinking, which will strengthen their desire to learn.

多様な他者と英語で対話することで、日頃鍛えているコミュニケーションスキルをリアルの場で発揮します。挑戦を通して自信をつけ、様々な見方や考え方に気づくことで、学ぶ意欲を強めていきます。

Waseda Foreign Language College

Our class researched and contacted many universities and colleges. We decided to visit Waseda Foreign Language College as they have students from a variety of countries, as far-reaching as Brazil. We were greeted with a warm welcome.

インターナショナルコース レベル３の生徒たちは、多くの大学やカレッジを調べ、自分たちで連絡を取りました。そのうち、クラーク国際東京キャンパスから徒歩５分にあるお隣の早稲田外語専門学校からよいお返事をいただきました。早稲田外語専門学校には、ブラジルなど様々な国からの留学生が在籍しているため訪問することに決めました。私たちは温かく迎えていただきました。

Perfect chance to practice speaking English and think about new ideas

Clark students interviewed the international students studying at Waseda Foreign Language College. They prepared a selection of unique questions and learned a lot. This interview was a perfect chance to practice speaking English and think about new ideas. They will take this information, reflect on the answers, and prepare presentations.

クラーク国際生が早稲田外語専門学校で学ぶ留学生に、事前に用意してきたユニークな質問をもとに取材し、多くのことを学びました。この取材は英語を話す練習をし、新しいアイデアを考える絶好の機会となりました。生徒たちはこの日得た情報を振り返ってまとめ、プレゼンテーションを準備します。
