【インターナショナルコース】Quest Cup 2025「社会課題探究部門」Social Change English✨ 英語でプレゼンに挑戦！
クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、木曜日の午後に「Upper Presentation」というクラスをおこなっています。このクラスでは、教育と探求社が手掛ける探究学習プログラムの「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」を仲間と協力して目指してきました。今回は、東京キャンパスから全国大会に挑戦した「team Seafood」の活躍の様子を、担当したLewis先生がご紹介します！
How can you help children who feel isolated?
We presented our project for the Quest Cup Social Change English award. Our team gave a great presentation on how we can do more to help children who feel isolated. Their plan for social change was to let students use schools after class had finished to meet and talk with their friends when their parents were still at work.
Interview with the Children and Families Agency
I was so proud of the amount of work the team put into their presentation. They did a great job collecting research. They held a questionnaire to ask their classmates what they thought about their idea and even went to the Children and Families Agency, Government of Japan, to speak to a professional with experience helping children.
私は、チームがプレゼンテーションに費やした努力の量をとても誇りに思いました。彼らは素晴らしいリサーチを行っていました。クラスメートに自分たちのアイデアについてどう思うかアンケートをとったり、自分たちで霞が関のこども家庭庁にアプローチして訪れ、子どもたちを支援した経験のある専門家に話を聞いたりもしました。

Unfortunately our team didn’t win, but they were praised on all the work they did. I was so happy to see how much they had learned working together.
残念ながら私たちのチームは優勝を逃しましたが、彼らが行ったすべての活動について称賛されました。私は、彼らが力を合わせて学んだことを目の当たりにして、とても嬉しく思いました。
