【インターナショナルコース】英検1級に合格しました！
インターナショナルコースでは、3年間を通して英語力、他の文化を理解する力、世界の課題に取り組む力を身につけていきます。その中でも英検に力を入れており、生徒皆が合格に向けて勉強に励んでいます。
そしてこの度、当キャンパスの3年生の生徒が英検1級に合格しました！おめでとうございます！
Congratulations on passing Eiken 1!
英検1級合格、おめでとうございます。
The level 1 Eiken exam is the most difficult of all. What makes it the most difficult exam is not only the rare and complicated vocabulary, but also the subject matter itself.
英検1級は最も難しい試験です。英検一級が最も難しいのは、珍しかったり複雑な語彙が多いだけでなく、問題の題材そのものが難しいからと言われています。
Therefore, when someone passes this exam, they are greeted with astonishment by classmates and teachers alike.
そのため、この試験に合格すると、クラスメートからも教師からも一目置かれる存在となります。
However, this student did not find this exam so difficult. What is her secret?
しかし、この生徒はこの試験をそこまで難しいとは思わなかったようです。
彼女の合格の秘訣は何でしょうか？ どうやら2つ秘訣があるようです。
Point 1. Read a lot of books especially many different kinds of books
秘訣その① たくさん読書をする。出来れば色々な種類の本を読むと◎
When she comes across new words, she researches their meaning and writes them down in a vocabulary notebook.
彼女は新しい単語に出会うと、その意味を調べて単語帳に書き留めているようです。
She then looks at this book regularly to make sure she memorizes these words and their meanings.
そして、定期的に単語帳を見返して、単語と意味を確実に覚えることが合格への近道となると語ってくれました。
単語は1回見ただけでは覚えることができません。なので、意味を調べて自分で簡単な例文を作ってみるとさらに定着しやすくなります。試験当日に強力な効果を発揮するでしょう。
Point 2. Study every day
秘訣その② 毎日勉強する
Not necessarily all the time, it can be just a short study session.
集中して勉強する必要はありません。短時間の勉強でも大丈夫です。ただ、毎日続けることが大切だと語ってくれました。
Then watch videos and do research in English.
他にもYoutubeやNetflixといったビデオを見たり、英語で調べ物をすることも有効であると語ってくれました。
