【インターナショナルコース】ニコール先生による International Relations の授業

インターナショナルコースでは、英語を使って世界に羽ばたき活躍する生徒の育成を目指しています。今回は、ジャマイカ出身のニコール先生による、英語「で」英語や国際教養を学ぶCLIL（クリル: Content and Language Integrated Learning（内容言語統合型学習））科目の一つ、’International Relations’ の授業をご紹介します。

英語で国際関係を学ぶ

International Relations is one of the content based classes taught at Clark. Students are introduced to critical thinking through learning about various world views. We just finished learning about different International Relations theories.

International Relations（国際関係）の授業では、生徒はさまざまな世界観について学ぶことで、批判的思考を身につけていきます。これまでに、異なる国際関係論について学んできました。

Currently, we are preparing group presentations on an influential historical leader. Groups have submitted their presentation slides, have been given ample rehearsal time and will present in the next class. Here is a sample of the student’s PowerPoint slides.

現在、私たちは歴史的に影響力のある指導者についてのグループ・プレゼンテーションを準備しています。生徒がつくったパワーポイント・スライドをいくつか見てみましょう。各グループはプレゼンテーションのスライドを提出し、グループで英語で発表するリハーサルをしているところです。次回の授業での発表がとても楽しみです！
