【進路】海外大学進学プログラム始動！

クラーク記念国際高等学校では、言語スキルの向上だけではなく、幅広い知識や考える力、国際理解力を養っています。進路は日本国内にとどまらず、海外大学進学を実現した先輩も少なくありません。7月から東京キャンパスでは、海外大学進学を志す生徒を対象に、新たに『海外大学進学プログラム』を開始しました。このプログラムをリードするピーター先生がご紹介します。

海外大学進学プログラムとは？

Do you know what it takes to study abroad in the US? How about the UK? Have you heard of the TOEFL iBT or the SAT? Have you been in deep thought about your future?

Well, if you have a higher level of English and are willing to work hard, you may be able to achieve your goals overseas in the US or the UK.

We understand that it can be extremely difficult navigating your way to university from high school, and it becomes even more complex when you are considering your future outside of Japan. However, here at Clark, we have developed a program that will give you the skills and knowledge necessary for you to challenge academic studies in a foreign country. Through rigorous and thorough course work with us and personal determination you will place yourself on the right path towards success.

アメリカやイギリスへの留学に何が必要かを知っていますか？　TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language – Internet-Based Testing) や、SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) はご存知でしょうか？

TOEFL iBTスピーキング対策授業

Today, the students commenced their TOEFL iBT speaking lessons with Fukuda sensei.

It was a great opportunity for me to step back and observe how others teach and how students learn. There is a very positive atmosphere in the class and the students are working very hard to express themselves in an academic way.

Brainstorming, strategy development, and speech preparation are the focus for this first lesson and it is going very well.
Have you ever tried academic speaking? It’s a great way to express yourself in a structured and disciplined manner.

今日から福田先生による TOEFL iBTスピーキング対策授業が始まりました。
私にとっては一歩引いて、他の人がどのように教えているのか、生徒がどのように学んでいるのかを観察する良い機会でした。クラスにはとてもポジティブな雰囲気があり、生徒たちはアカデミックな方法で自分を表現しようと懸命に取り組んでいます。ブレーンストーミング、スピーキングの戦略立て、スピーチの準備がこの最初のレッスンの焦点で、とてもうまくいっています。
