【進路】海外大学進学プログラム – SAT Math
クラーク記念国際高等学校では、言語スキルの向上だけではなく、幅広い知識や考える力、国際理解力を養っています。進路は日本国内にとどまらず、海外の大学への進学を実現する生徒も少なくありません。7月から東京キャンパスでは、海外の大学への進学を志す生徒を対象に、『海外大学進学プログラム』を開始しています。今日はこのプログラムをリードするPeter先生が、SAT Math の授業をご紹介します。
SAT Math とは？
The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. The SAT Math Test measures your ability to apply mathematical concepts and skills to the types of problems you might see in college and in your career.
SATは、米国の大学入試に広く利用されている標準テストです。SAT Mathは、数学の概念や技能を、大学や将来のキャリアで起こりうる問題に応用する能力を測るテストです。
Learning Mathematics in English 英語で数学を学ぶ
Today, students are working on developing their mathematical skills. Those in the class are at different levels in their SAT journey.
今日、生徒たちは数学のスキルアップに取り組んでいます。このクラスの生徒たちは、SATに向けてそれぞれ異なる段階にいます。
We have first year, second year, and third year students trying to learn as much as they can in order to succeed on the SAT. It is very difficult for them but they are working very hard.
1年生、2年生、3年生がSATで成功するために、できる限り多くのことを学ぼうとしています。とてもハードなことですが、みんな一生懸命に取り組んでいます。
