【オリンピック】岸 里奈選手 パリ五輪壮行会
今月開幕するパリ 2024 オリンピックで、体操女子の日本代表に内定したクラーク記念国際高等学校さいたまキャンパスの2年生 岸 里奈選手の壮行会を行いました。クラーク国際の仲間を応援するため、東京キャンパスの1, 2年生も参加してきました。各キャンパスから選出された実行委員も、受付や場内誘導などで大活躍でした。Adam先生が当日の様子をお伝えします。
A summit in support of a star🌟
We had a special summit with Clark students from all over Kanto to cheer, and support her. It was an exciting event, with speeches from very important people connected to her, and Clark. The Tokyo campus performance course dazzled the jam-packed auditorium with a number of their amazing dances, and songs.
クラークの生徒の一人、岸 里奈さんが体操選手としてパリオリンピックに出場します。彼女を応援するために、関東中のクラーク生が集まって壮行会を開催しました。彼女やクラークにゆかりのある重要人物からのスピーチもあり、エキサイティングなイベントとなりました。東京キャンパスのパフォーマンスコースは、素晴らしいダンスと歌の数々で来場者を魅了しました。
Amazing challenge and opportunity of competing in the Olympics
Their choreography was energetic, tight, and breath taking. All the students were gifted special Clark balloon clappers, and brought thunderous applause to encourage Rina to face the amazing challenge, and opportunity of competing in the Olympics.
彼らの振り付けはエネルギッシュで、タイトで、息をのむようなものでした。生徒たちは全員、クラーク特製の風船拍子木をプレゼントされ、オリンピック出場という素晴らしい挑戦とチャンスに立ち向かう里奈選手を励ますために、万雷の拍手を送りました。

Though I don’t know her personally, I feel a sense of connection with Rina Kishi as I have seen her training at my local sports centre in Toda. Also her coach, who is an Olympian, was a school friend of my wife. We wish her all the best and will be watching her grace the stage at this summer’s Paris Olympics.
